No Surprises Act

Your Rights and Protections Against Surprise Medical Bills

The No Surprises Act is a federal law designed to protect individuals from unexpected medical bills and provide greater transparency regarding healthcare costs.

Insurance and Self-Pay Services

Conscious Therapy Connections accepts several insurance plans, including:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS)

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

We also offer self-pay services for clients who choose not to use insurance or whose insurance benefits do not cover therapy services.

Good Faith Estimates for Self-Pay Clients

If you are uninsured or choose not to use your insurance benefits, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated cost of your mental health care services before treatment begins. Our current self-pay fees are:

  • Initial Intake Assessment: $200

  • Individual Therapy Session: $150

  • Couples Therapy Session: $150

Transparency in Care

We are committed to helping clients understand the costs associated with treatment and make informed decisions regarding their care. Before beginning services, we encourage clients to:

  • Verify insurance benefits and coverage

  • Discuss any financial questions with our team

  • Request a Good Faith Estimate if paying out of pocket
